As an English Landscape painter I was strongly inspired to paint the landscape of America after driving through many states on my travels from Florida to Colorado. The colors of each state were so intense and unlike anything I am used to and made me want to paint!

Junior Fine Arts Show
I am finally updating my blog! My first post is of the amazing show that I was so thankful to be a part of. My Junior Fine Arts class curated our own show off campus at the end of the end of our school year. I displayed my series Similar Faces and Familiar Places that I have been developing for the past semester. I received great reviews and was so lucky to have sold some pieces to some of my favorite people.
To see each piece up close > click here ! to visit the page on my website.
With this series I combined my obsession with printmaking and my passion for painting to create this little memories of mine. My work embraces simple, nostalgic landscapes that evoke a feeling of memory. Within my work, I combine timeless relocations from England to create a feeling of longing for the comforts of home .
Each piece is for sale ;)

Similar Faces #2
Lithography Project #3 I completed all on my own. As some might know the etching and printing process is really complicated, and if you mess up a little step within it all you can ruin your plate. So this was my first time really taking charge and remembering the steps involved. I am really pleased with the results and I can't wait to see all these little circles up on the wall together. So far I have only sewn together on to the mesh material, but more will be coming soon :)
Plate during the drawing stage
Two layer lithography print. 1st layer a green background created with tusche wash. 2nd layer is drawn with lithography pencils. Then sewn together on the mesh material and attached to a circulera frame.

Memory Project Portrait
I recently took part in the Memory Project. What is the Memory Project you ask: Well..
The Memory Project is a unique initiative in which art students create portraits (drawings, paintings, digital art, etc) for children and teens around the world who have been orphaned, neglected, or disadvantaged.
To do this, the artists receive photos of kids waiting for portraits and then work from those photos to create the portraits. Next, we deliver the portraits to the kids as gifts. We also take photos of the kids receiving the portraits so the artists can see those special moments.
The goal of the project is to inspire caring, global friendship, and a positive sense of self.

Similar faces
LITHOGRAPHY. my new art making obsession. The prints above were created by drawing on a block of smooth limestone. Then etched in a magical way, to then print pretty little delicate drawings. These are the first of a series I am creating in my lithography class. So stay tuned for more.

Winter Break Commissions
Winter Break was not really a break for me, due to the amazing opportunities to make art for people !
Sarasota Memorial Hospital
After being part of a team during the summer to paint a huge mural throughout a staircase of the Sarasota Memorial Hospital, I was asked to paint a mural in the employee gym at the hospital too. Inspired by the seven chakras and bamboo resembling our bones I painted the gym walls and received the best compliments by the gym users.
Samantha Kingsley asked me to paint a portrait of a photo taken at her wedding to give to her new husband for Christmas.

Yearly Addition to Reesa's Mural
Last year I painted a mural in my neighbor Reesa's backyard. After completion we had the thought of every year I could add a little something to the mural. The first addition are shells to the sand. Here is a photo of me hard at work.
Christmas Happiness from the Cattle Family
Just a little something that was emailed out to a few luck ones.
